It is the world’s sixth-largest country by total area, and it is a sovereign country comprising the mainland of the Australian continent, the island of Tasmania, and numerous smaller islands. It is located south of Indonesia and East of Africa.
France is located in Western Europe and it is bordered by Belgium, Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Andorra, and the Mediterranean Sea. The English Channel and the Atlantic Ocean also border France to the northwest and west respectively. The capital of France is Paris.

Its capital is Rome.
